Who We Are

Brantley co-founded Giving Docs to encourage legacy giving through accessible estate planning. After receiving his JD and BFA from the University of Texas at Austin, he spent over a decade as a practicing attorney. He served as Visiting Research Fellow at Duke University and was a Senior Lecturing Fellow at Duke University School of Law. Based in Durham, North Carolina, Brantley can often be found at live music festivals and on the hunt for the perfect breakfast taco.

Robert is an experienced engineer and entrepreneur, starting his first business early in college, and has spent over two decades building customized software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions. He holds a BS from Louisiana State University, and began his career working for the Department of Energy in Louisiana. He has a passion for technology with a purpose. Robert lives in Austin, Texas with his wife and two children and loves spending time traveling and/or in nature whenever possible.

Thomas brings 10+ years of nonprofit experience, previously serving as the Associate Director of Planned Giving at Ocean Conservancy and is a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy®. He has served as a member of the Board of National Capital Gift Planning Council and as Assistant to the Director for the Environmental Fund for Maryland. Thomas and his wife live in the Washington, DC area with their young daughter and cat, and is an avid angler and runner.

Lindsay has worked in the nonprofit sector as a volunteer, board member and employee (often all three at once) for over a decade. She currently serves on the Board of the Colorado Planned Giving Roundtable, and previously led partner engagement at the Colorado Nonprofit Association. She has a MA from Regis University and a BA from Colorado State University.  She lives in Crested Butte, deep in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, with her partner and cat Teocalli.

Tyler is a seasoned expert in proactive planned giving marketing. Specializing in utilizing fundraising technology to boost donor engagement. A Robert Morris University graduate, he applies his comprehensive expertise to advance philanthropic efforts. He resides in Thousand Oaks, CA, with his wife, their two children, and beloved dog.  An active community member, he dedicates time coaching and supporting youth sports. Tyler cherishes exploring new destinations with his family, and enjoys golf, pickleball, basketball, and staying active.

Ali has spent more than 15 years in the world of nonprofit fundraising. As a gift officer, she successfully cultivated and closed multiple six-figure planned gifts. Most recently, she was on the customer success team at Gravyty. Ali’s diligence and industry expertise position her clients for success, and she’s proud of the ways in which she’s incorporated empathy, creativity, and candor into her work. Ali and her spouse live in Massachusetts. Libraries and road trips are two of her very favorite things.

Ryan brings over a decade of experience in nonprofit development and strategic growth to Giving Docs. A dedicated advocate for nonprofits, Ryan previously served as a Vice President at DonorSearch, where he helped thousands of organizations streamline prospecting. A passionate connector. frequent speaker, and active association leader, Ryan is committed to helping the entire sector.  When not at work, you can find him playing tag with his cat Darwin, hiking with his partner Sarah, or running all over the kickball field with people half his age.

Holly is an experienced marketing professional. She is dedicated to empowering nonprofits in advancing their missions by partnering with them to achieve their estate planning goals. With a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies from California Polytechnic State University in San LuisObispo, she brings a well-rounded perspective to the ever-evolving marketing landscape. Holly and her husband live in southern California with their two, very busy, young boys. Outside of work, she can be found making sourdough bread and cheering on her boys at the baseball field. 

An attorney who began her career focused on Trusts & Estates, Jade also brings 15+ years of nonprofit experience.  She served as Director of Estate Planning at Human Rights Campaign and National Vice President of Individual Giving at Muscular Dystrophy Association. Jade earned her JD from Georgetown University and a BA from Humboldt State University. She serves as Board President for the National Capital Gift Planning Council, lives near Washington D.C.,  and has four incredible kids and one adorable dog.
